Waymo Cost: Fares & Ride Price Comparison

Waymo’s pricing guidance lists a minimum charge, distance and time. Demand, fees, tolls, promotions and booking arrangements can also affect the quote. A changed destination or late cancellation can create additional charges.

Enter your pickup and destination in the booking app, review the price and terms, and confirm only when you are ready. For a city using Uber, use the quote and conditions in Uber.

Compare both quotes for the same addresses at approximately the same time. A single example cannot establish that one service is always cheaper. Avoid comparing an old receipt against a live quote without accounting for different times and conditions.

• Use the same pickup entrance and destination.
• Compare fees and discounts consistently; introductory promotions may not repeat.
• Consider pickup walk and wait, not just travel time.
• Check passenger capacity and any needs that could change your ride choice.
• Keep a dated record of quotes if you want to compare your regular journeys over time.

This guide covers booking a ride. A search for “Waymo car price” can mean either a passenger fare or a vehicle’s price; a fare quote does not establish that the automated vehicle is offered for private purchase.
